Ingredients
1 large ham hock
2 quarts unsalted chicken stock
1 large bunch collard greens, rinsed and chopped
3 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
Instructions
Add ham hock to a large pot; add chicken stock. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer; simmer 1 to 2 hours to make a rich broth. Add collard greens and vinegar; simmer 1 to 5 hours, depending on texture you prefer.
May refrigerate unused portions for up to four days or freeze for up to three months.
Portion up to 1 cup at a time for your dog.
