Mo’s Gluten Free Deep Dish Pizza For Dogs

Crust:

1 cup coconut flour

1 tsp dried basil

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp dried parsley

1 tsp dried basil

1 egg

1 cup unsalted chicken broth

 Ideas for toppings:

mashed, cooked sweet potatoe

low fat mozzarella cheese

grated carrot

plain cooked chicken breasts cubed

cooked ground turkey

 

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Spray deep dish pie pan with non stick cooking spray In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, basil, parsley and oregano. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg and stir in the chicken broth. Make a well in the dry mixture and pour in the wet ingredients. Stir together until combined. Spread crust mixture in the pie pan and press down with your hands. Spread sweet potato mixture if desired on crust and top with dog friendly toppings of your choice and cheese. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until cheese is browned. Take out of the oven and let cook completely before serving. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or frozen in a ziploc bag for 2 months.
